Huge Spider!

So, I dont know if any of you know but me and Gwen were sharing a bed for the first couple of months here in PR cause’ were too poor to get a bed haha..ANYWAY we were just CHILLEN and we saw a HUGE..when i say huge i mean HUUUUUGE spider..got it on video..pretty hilarious.

OceanPark, Surfboards, & Pinones.

Once in awhile, we try take short road trips around Puerto Rico and see where end up.  This time we ended up at one of the local beaches called OceanPark.  This beach is more of a family type of beach–real chill.  We also put pictures of when we first got our surfboards/funboard =)  and also pictures from this local, popular Puerto Rican street called Pinones.  They have a whole street of “dirty” Puerto Rican food–delicioso!

Viejo San Juan

These pictures are from when we went to Old San Juan.   Gwen and I live in a large city called San Juan which has sub cities, so this place we visited is basically the OLD San Juan.  This place is designed old school.  It has classic buildings, and brick pavement.  There was a point where constructors tried renovating to make the place look more modern, but a riot began because locals didnt want them to change the heart of Puerto Rico.  El Morro which is a fort that sits at the top of Old San Juan is one of Puerto Rico’s greatest historical sites.  Currently, Old San Juan is a large outdoor shopping mall with nice restaurants.  At night, all of Old San Juan becomes a huge block party.  Pretty cool.  Here’s some pictures =)

Brava Nightclub

This night was totally unexpected. Me and g$oll just really felt like dancing and getting dressed up! It was fun, nothin’ like Vegas, but it was the closest we got to it! Casino, hotel, club and a beach.  Also, as you can see we are running out of clothes lol, so you all probs think we look like senoritas haha. Anyway, here are some pics!

Stepz.

So, what me, gwen and a couple of friends have been doing is just feelin’ and groovin’ to the Puerto Rican-ness haha. We’ve been to a couple of small college bars here and there.  Let me tell you, they are def like nothing back home! First of all, everyone can dance–girls and boys.  The muchachos definitely work it out! It’s real intimidating haha. Anyway, that’s on mine and gwen’s PR list–LEARN how to Reggaetone.  Second, everyone dresses up here whether its a hole in the wall bar or a Vegas type bar. Lastly, drinks are HELLA(that’s for you shahannah) CHEAP!  Dude, its like $1.25 beers almost everywhere and they have $10 open bar. Anyway, here are some pics from a bar called Stepz.

First Night out in Puerto Rico @ Bacco lounge.

This was our first “night out” in Puerto Rico.  We all  planned to go to a small bar and just hang out with  Andre & Alex because it was their last night in Puerto Rico, but we ended up seeing Columbus Short! This bar was just a small local bar called Bacco. Good times.
